Privacy policy

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, when you joined, your plan.
  • Your video memory: the video links you send through Claude, and what we fetch for them (title, creator, caption, length, view/like/comment counts, transcript), plus the notes and results you ask Claude to save.
  • Usage: how many new videos you send each day and month, to apply your plan's limits.
  • Billing: if you subscribe or buy a video pack, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, the subscription status, and for packs the Checkout session ID; we keep a history of pack videos bought and used. We never see or store your card number.
  • Sign-in and security: short-lived sign-in codes, session cookies and connection tokens (stored only in hashed form), and standard server logs (such as IP address, time and the link requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.

We do not see your Claude conversations. Claude only sends us what it passes to our tools, such as a video link and an optional note.

How we use it

To run the service: fetch and transcribe the videos you send, keep your memory and search it for you, apply plan limits, take payment, send sign-in emails, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not use your data to train AI models.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run read my video, under their own privacy and security terms:

  • Render (hosting and database storage)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Our email provider (sign-in emails)
  • Apify (used for some Instagram links: the public link is sent to them to fetch the video)
  • The video platforms themselves (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and others), which receive our requests for the public video you sent

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our users or the service.

How long we keep it

Your account and memory are kept until you delete them. Deleting your account from the account page removes your account, memory, notes and results from our database right away and signs out every Claude connection. Copies in encrypted backups expire within 30 days. To stop deleted accounts from re-claiming the free allowance, we keep a one-way hash of the email address with the current month's usage count. Transcripts of public videos may be kept in a shared cache that is not linked to any account. Stripe keeps billing records as required by law.

Your choices and rights

  • Download your data any time from your account page (JSON file).
  • Delete your account and data any time from your account page.
  • Disconnect Claude from your account page or by removing the connector in Claude.
  • Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California) you may have further rights, such as access, correction, deletion, objection and portability. Email info@amtdaglobal.com and we will answer within 30 days.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in on this website. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in codes and tokens are stored only as hashes. Each user's memory is kept separate and is only reachable with that user's own sign-in.

Children

read my video is not for children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for important changes we will tell you by email.
